\t\tAlaska’s 20-Foot\n\t\tChocolate Waterfall\n\t\t<\/h3>\n\t

IN 1994 WHEN PETER EDEN BUILT\u00a0the new main store, he knew it would have to be really special. After all, Anchorage wasn’t exactly a world-class tourism destination at the time. So working from Peter’s vision,\u00a0Homer artist Mike Sirl<\/b>\u00a0designed and built this “Chocolate Waterfall.”<\/p>\n

The falls incorporates over\u00a03000 pounds of chocolate<\/b>, authentic copper candy kettles, and a specially built warming and mixing system. The chocolate gushes out of the fountain head, cascades down the kettles, then settles in the swirling chocolate pool.<\/p>\n

The chocolate itself is donated by the\u00a0Peter’s Chocolate Division of Nestle Foods and Guittard Chocolate Company<\/b>.<\/p>\n
